South Korea Day 4

October 26, 2017 | Fourth day of our Autumn experience in South Korea.

EVERLAND

This is the largest themed park in South Korea with over 40 rides and attractions. It is situated at the Everland Resort in Yongin, a city in Gyeonggi-do. We opted to visit Everland rather than Lotte World just because my friend would really want to see a real Panda and of course for us to experience the world's steepest wooden roller coaster, the T Express.

We got our tickets via Klook so when we got there we just presented our printed vouchers. I would really recommend booking your tickets via Klook to get discounted prices. The themed park opens at 10AM.

How we got to Everland:

1) We took the Subway train going to Gangnam Station 2) Exit at Exit No. 10. 3) We walked at least 200m to the bus stop. The bus stop is just in front of "Who.A.U" 4) We took Bus No. 5002 to Everland. You can pay with your T-Money card or cash. The bus journey was approximately 40-50 minutes. 5) Alight at Everland Bus Station and transfer to the free shuttle service. The free Shuttle Bus takes only 5 minutes to get to the Everland main gate. 6) When returning, take the free shuttle bus going back to bus 5002 going back to Gangnam.

NAMSAN SEOUL TOWER

We visited the N Seoul Tower at night to see the city lights of Seoul. We got our vouchers again via Klook in a discounted price. We only bought the ticket to the Observatory.

We took a cab to get to the Namsan Cable Car station. We paid a roundtrip ticket for 8,500 won. This will take you to the Namsan Tower in under 5 minutes. It doesn't land straight at the tower itself. We had to climb the stairs to get there. Then you will reach a very big terrace holding all the N Seoul Tower love locks. It is a spacious wooden viewing deck whose exotic atmosphere makes it really popular with lovers. Of course, me and my boyfriend placed our own share of "ka-cheesy-han". We bought a simple love lock, wrote a simple note and placed it in one corner of the viewing deck.

Then we proceeded to the Observatory. It offers a 360° panoramic view of the entire city of Seoul. Too bad that we were not able to get decent pictures of the city lights. We just made the most of our short stay by making fun of ourselves in a big selfie machine.

Additional information of the tower below:

Operating Hours [Observatory] Sunday-Friday: 10:00-23:00 Saturday: 10:00-24:00 * Last admission 30 minutes before closing. * Operating hours are subject to change depending on weather or business schedules.

HEO JOON-JAE''s HOUSE (The Legend Of The Blue Sea)

If you are KDrama fanatic and have seen The Legend of the Blue Sea, then you know whose hands have touched that door. Heo Joon-Jae's house (exterior) is actually a gallery. The stairs going to the house is located near the passage way to the Namsan Tower Cable Car. I guess it only took us 5 minutes to get there. It was already late and we haven't eaten our dinner yet so we just stayed there for a couple of minutes just to get some pictures. After the photoshoot we headed to Myeong-dong to get our very late dinner.
